October 20, 2009 2 Year Wedding Anniversary
Brian and I celebrated our two year anniversary on Saturday, October 17th by riding ATVs at Kualoa Ranch (www.kualoa.com) where they filmed Lost, 50 First Dates, Jurassic Park and many more movies. We took a two hour tour and had a blast enjoying the beautiful scenery. We had dinner at an Italian Wine Bar where we enjoyed a bottle of wine and appetizers. We ended our night at the Bare Foot Bar at the Hale Koa where we stayed the night with an awesome ocean view. The next morning we went to breakfast at Eggs n Things and then relaxed by the pool at the hotel. It was an awesome celebration and we both had a wonderful time.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I was big on socializing and having fun! Nothing much has changed over the years. Growing up I always wanted to move somewhere other than Texas. I enjoy Texas but never really enjoyed living there, just too far to any other state. When I was 22 I had an opportunity to work and live in Yosemitie, CA. That was an awesome experience which I will never forget. Then when I was 28, I moved to New Mexico where I finished my college degree in Community Health. By the time I was thirty, I graduated, met my future husband (didn't know this at the time) and then moved to Florida by age 31. My now husband, Brian and I moved to Hawaii where we live now but will be moving to Washington State next April. I guess my dream came true by not only moving out of Texas but moving to other states as well. I love moving around and seeing and experincing new things, it's especially fun sharing all the new excitment with Brian. I've already scoped out the triathlon world in Washington State and I have to say, I'm very excited to race in new terrain!
I used to do triathlons just to finish, now I love to fight for a medal. My husband, family, training/being active and friends are the most important things in my life. I live to be happy and fit!
